At Barrels and Basket, we take food safety and allergen management seriously. We are committed to providing accurate information about all our products so you can make informed choices.

2. Allergen Labelling
All products that contain common allergens are clearly labelled on their product page.

We follow UK Food Standards Agency guidelines for allergen labelling.

Allergen information is listed in the product description and on the product packaging.

- Tree nuts

4. Allergen Information by Product

Ground Crayfish
Contains crustaceans. Not suitable for customers with shellfish allergy.

Dried Fish (Catfish, Asa Fish, and other dried fish)
Contains fish.

Stockfish
Contains fish.

Suya Spice (Yaji)
May contain peanuts and chilli with strong natural aroma.

Prepared Soups
May contain fish, crustaceans and other allergens depending on the recipe. Contact us before ordering if you have allergies.

Isi Ewu and Nkwobi
Allergy information should be confirmed before ordering as these may contain meat, spices, seasoning, or nuts.

Palm Oil
Contains palm fruit oil. Usually no major allergen. Store in a cool dry place.

Dried Leaves (Ugu, Bitter Leaf, Oha, Uziza, etc.)
No known major allergens.

Spice Blends
May contain traces of allergens. Please check product label.

6. Cross-Contamination
Please note: All our products are prepared in kitchens and facilities that handle multiple ingredients.

While we take steps to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

7. Pre-Order Meals
Our pre-order meals are prepared to order in commercial kitchens.

Allergen information is provided with each meal.
